Week 1 EOC: Great Customer Service


Any successful business would tell you the key to being successful is creating an outstanding customer service.  Without customers, there would be no business.  In order to be an upscale business, you must show your customers the satisfaction, and ones desires fulfilled.  Customer satisfaction begins with the first contact a customer has with your company.  Howard Schultz CEO of Starbucks Coffee had this to say concerning customer service : “Our mission statement about treating people with respect and dignity is not just words but a creed we live by every day. You can’t expect your employees to exceed the expectations of your customers if you don’t exceed the employees’ expectations of management.”  Stating this statement, I firmly agree with Mr. Schultz.  In some cases employees find it hard to find to give customer satisfaction if one’s own business is not able to express satisfaction to its employees.  In this case its about treating employees with great service, and in return it is spread throughout to the business customers.
